The foundation was organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. It's goal is to provide effective and positive youth development programs and the mechanisms responsible for positive developmental outcomes. Through implementation of financial litereacy classes, various workshops, seminars and higher education merit awards, the foundation hopes to encourage youth to become healthy, productive citizens of our community.
Since its inception in 2011, the foundation has expanded and seeks to provide educational, monetary and or advocacy resources to improve the quality of life for victims and survivors of Domestic Violence and adult individuals living with a hearing impairment. The foundation was named in memory of my Aunt/godmother, Dollicia F. Holloway, who passed away on New Year's day in 1971 at the tender age of 26.
