Dollicia F. Memorial Foundation was created in memory of my Aunt, the late Dollicia F. Holloway. The Foundation was established in October of 2011 offering a wide range of youth mentoring workshops for children, ages 9 through 18 in Nassau County Long Island and New York City.
The Mission of The Dollicia F. Holloway Memorial Foundation, Inc is to encourage and enable Children of our community to Dream, Achieve, Rise and Explore (DARE) to their fullest potential towards becoming responsible and successful leaders within their community.
The Foundation will provide programs consisting of educational workshops and seminars to counter the demands of society our youth must face today. The overall goal is to foster a commitment which will promote the development of formulating healthy lifestyle choices.
Since its inception, the Foundation has expanded it services in 2013 and now offers assistance to Domestic Violence victims and survivors as well as adult individuals who are Hard-of-Hearing. Court support and financial literacy workshops and seminars will be executed for victims, survivors and the general public. We are dedicated to executing informational and educational workshops to raise awarness of this unwarranted and destructive criminal act. In addition, we've chosen to raise awareness in the community and provide financial and informational resources to adults living with a hearing impairment.
The Foundation will serve and provide positive and productive opportunities to help children prepare and go to college. Domestic violence victims and survivors will regain skills and confidence to live and hearing impaired adults a chance to achieve success through education and resources to obtain a better quality of life.
The Foundation is funded by organizational fundraising, corporate sponsorships, state and federal grants and charitable donations from communal residents and investors just like YOU!
